Care Guidance was founded in 2015 to change that. We exist to empower families with expert guidance, independent advice, and ongoing support so they can find the right care for the people they love and make sure that care continues to work.
Whether you need help finding a home care provider or an Aged Care home, or you want Specialist Wellbeing Support for a loved one already in care, we have a service for you and in most cases it costs your family nothing.

Whether you need care urgently, are planning ahead, or want ongoing support for a loved one already in care, Care Guidance has a path for you.
When your usual carer cannot continue, you need safe care arranged quickly.
If your loved one wants to stay at home with the right help in place, we will match them with the right home care provider for their needs and budget.
When your loved one receives home care but needs emotional or social support too, a Wellbeing Specialist can visit them at home.
When your loved one needs more care than can be provided at home, we will guide you through every step from assessment to moving in.
If your loved one is in a care home and you are worried about how they are going emotionally, a Wellbeing Specialist embedded directly in their care home can help.

Is Care Guidance really free for families?
The Concierge Service is free to your family — when we help you find care, we are paid by the provider you choose, never by you. The Wellbeing Program is also free if your loved one has a Support at Home package to fund it; if not, get in touch and we will chat through the options.
If providers pay you, how are you independent?
We have no financial relationship with any provider when we make a recommendation. A fee is paid only after a placement is made, so our only goal is finding the right fit for your loved one.
How quickly will you get back to me?
A Care Guidance team member will contact you within one business day. If you need emergency respite, call us on 1300 442 383 and we will work to find safe short-term care fast, the same day where possible.
Do you help families in my area?
Our Concierge Service is primarily based in Melbourne and regional Victoria, but we have placed people in care right around the country. Our Wellbeing Program is available nationally. Wherever you are, get in touch and we will talk through your options.
What happens when I first get in touch?
A Care Guide will listen to your situation, explain your options in plain language and talk you through the next steps. There is no obligation and no paperwork at this stage.
