We've had the pleasure of working with teams across the sector to support clients and their families, and we wanted to introduce ourselves properly, so you know exactly how Care Guidance can help.

Here is a quick look at the two services you can lean on.

The Concierge Service

When a client needs to move beyond home care, we guide the whole placement from first call to settled in. We handle the paperwork, financial and medical assessments, then hand back a personalised, matched shortlist of providers.

We help with:

  • Emergency Respite — urgent, short-term care.
  • Residential Aged Care — permanent placement, with supported transition.

Free to families and fully independent. Learn more about the Concierge Service →

The Wellbeing Program

Our AASW-accredited Wellbeing Specialists support clients and their families through the emotional and social side of ageing, the needs that practical care alone cannot meet. Some of the things we help with are:

  • Isolation, grief, anxiety & low mood, and adjusting to changes in health.
  • Cognitive decline & dementia, including behavioural change and family distress.
  • Family conflict & carer burnout, and concerns about elder abuse.
  • Legal & financial matters — Power of Attorney, advance care planning, VCAT/TASCAT.

Funded as Social Work under Allied Health in the client's package. Learn more about the Wellbeing Program →
